Trasnferring money within Italy, from one bank to another is quite simple.

The operation is called "bonifico" and can be done online, over the phone or at the counter.

As in most cases, online operations are the cheapest. Bonifici can be free but at the counter, a bank can charge 4-5 euros.

To send money you need to know some data of the counterpart:

- IBAN: it's a unique code to his bank account

- owner's name/surname or company name

- address
